Conclusion

It’s a device that we all hope is going to absolutely rock. It looks cool, it’s super portable, and it’s got some neat features to boot. So before we give you a final conclusion, let’s start with some of the more obvious issues with this device.

The main issue with a vape shaped like a Zippo is going to be pretty obvious: that lid. While it looks cool as hell, it’s got a fair amount of play and clangs against the body of the device when you open it. It’s not the end of the world, of course, but it’s also a bit awkward to vape out of, with the lid kind of clanging around near your mouth. If you’re okay with this, the rest of the issues are pretty minor. It’s a little heavier than other portable devices, due to its metal design. It’s not a regulated device either, so your power levels are determined by battery life, which can be a little annoying as your battery depletes. One reviewer also noted that the drip tip can come off on accident when you’re trying to remove the pod, which can make things a little tricky.

Moving on to the list of pros. The press-to-fill system has long been a favorite of our reviewers. It’s easy to use, mess-free, and they include a bottle for use with it, in case you’re working with drippers or larger juice bottles. It also uses long-lasting ceramic coils with great flavor and decent vapor production for a smaller device. The ramp-up is impressive for a draw-activated device, as well, and adjustable power settings are always welcome. The device itself is built like an absolute tank. Each piece is clearly well constructed, and the brushed metal finish is simply stunning.

So who is this for? This is a great device for people who are fans of a true, restrictive MTL vape device. While there’s an included sub-ohm coil, this is going to provide a much more restricted lung hit than a true DTL-style vape. If you’re looking for a nice, full-featured, and super-attractive ultra-portable MTL vape, this is the one for you. If that clangy lid and design are an issue for you, you may be better served checking out other options.
