In a world where pod systems are a dime a dozen, it really takes something special to stand out from the pack. By all accounts, it looks like the Zeltu X Pod System has done exactly that. For a pod system by a company with no real footprint on the scene, though, is this pod system too bold? Have they bitten off more than they can chew by designing this striking form factor or does it hold up to its classy brushed metal finish? If the suspense is killing you, feel free to skip straight to the end. If you really want the nitty-gritty, read through the specs, pros, and cons. We’ll tie things up for you in the conclusion.

The Zeltu X Pod System is a unique pod system, there’s no doubt about that. If you’re looking for a nice, portable vape system which doesn’t look like all your friends’, this might be perfect. Before we get to why that is, however, let’s talk about some of the cons we’ve found with this unit.
Right after you’re struck by the way this device looks, you’re going to notice the price point. At $39.99, this is one of the more expensive pod systems on the market. As you’ll read in the “pros” section, you get some good quality for this price, but this might be a deal breaker if you’re just looking for quick and easy little knockabout system.
It also suffers from a little bit of wobbliness and rattling. Various accounts report rattling with both the pods and the firing button, which is kind of annoying for such an otherwise well-constructed system. The flavor is also just about average for a pod system, ranging up to above average depending upon the reviewer. Flavor is in the taste buds of the beholder after all!
On to the pros. Clearly, the form factor is very attractive. The slender, wide frame of the Zeltu is unlike anything else out there, and the brushed metal finish is truly lovely. The dust cover is a nice touch, as well, with incredibly strong magnet connections. They’ve also solved the problem of what to do with your dust cover while you’re vaping, which, to our knowledge, no other companies have really tackled. Just take the cover off and flip it to attach to the bottom of the kit while you’re vaping! Really nice.
It’s also got nice adjustable airflow, which is becoming the standard among these smaller systems but still appreciated. The battery is also much larger than other pod systems, even those of comparable size. 1000mAh will last quite a long while, particularly on higher resistances. The battery also has a really impressive feedback system, with five different color indicators to let you know pretty accurately what level it’s at.
So, if you’re in the market for a higher end pod system, the Zeltu X might be just what you’re looking for. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for something cheap and easy, but that’s really the only case in which you wouldn’t want to check this thing out. If you’re into pod systems and you want to make a little bit of an investment, the Zeltu X is well-worth the price.
