Does Vaping Leave a Smell on Clothes? The Complete Guide For 2022

There are several advantages to vaping, such as the fact that it is 95 percent safer than smoking and doesn't produce the same unpleasant odor. In addition, you don't get dirty ceilings, yellowing mustache, or stained fingertips. Everyone has a common question: whether or not using a vaporizer would cause clothing to smell.

Vaping does not generate the same odor as smoking. As it turns out, several tastes and scents have a pleasingly fruity and floral character, and, just as it happens - our online vape store has a variety of them. If you've ever passed someone who vapes, you've probably noticed the difference in smell.

While this has an odor when you vape, the smell will not stick to your clothing unless you do so extensively in a poorly ventilated place. A cloud-twisting event would be the only time you'd detect the scent of fruity vape on your clothing. Even then, it's not too bad, so the smell of your garments would be just fine!

How Do You Get The Vape Smell Out of Clothes?

In the event of your clothes smelling like your favorite vape juice, use the following methods:

  1. Air-out your clothing - Fresh air is the first thing smoky clothing requires. Hang the clothing in a well-ventilated place, or even better, outdoors. Getting a little sunshine and fresh air may have a profound effect.
  2. Spray to eliminate odors - Keep the clothing on a hanger and spray it liberally with Febreze to remove the lingering vapor odor. Making your deodorizing spray is as simple as mixing equal amounts of vinegar and water in a spritz container and using it as directed.
  3. Baking soda - Use a nylon zipper bag with lots of space to move the clothing. You can use a plastic shopping bag or plastic container as an alternative to a zippered pouch. Toss half a cup of baking soda, close the bag tightly, mix it up, and let it rest for at least one night. That will give the baking soda enough time to get rid of the stench. Take the bag outdoors, open it, and shake off the baking soda excess after leaving it to sit for a while. Using a low or no-heat tumble drying cycle may help as well.
  4. Steam - Before steaming, make sure the clothing care tag says it's okay. Be careful to cover the entire piece when steaming it. The water reservoir can be disinfected by adding a 3:1 solution of distilled water and rubbing alcohol to it.
  5. In the washing machine - Before putting your garments in the washing machine, you can pre-soak them with vinegar for 30-60 minutes or add in a scent booster, lemon, or something very popular lately - vodka.
