Conclusion

The SMOK Thallo is a pretty lightweight device, it’s a considerable compact bearing a tube shape. The pod offers a convenient thumb fire, right beneath it is a vibrant color display. The Thallo is designed to fit comfortably in hand and it does just that with an ergonomic feel. The pod houses a powerful 3000mah battery that’s supported by a bottom-hinged battery door.

The section where your pod fits in has a large plastic airflow control ring, it’s got deep grooves on it, so it’s really easy to adjust your airflow. There are two very large airflow holes on each side. The pod captures a large 5mL capacity and offers two RPM 2 coil options that easily suit both MTL and DL vaping styles respectively.

Let’s dive into the pros and cons. There was one recurring con concerning the turbulent draw: it makes a slight noise. Next, the MTL coil can only get so tight of a draw. The (0.6ohm) coil with the airflow closed leaks air, it’s a medium boarding on loose MTL.

There’s so much to love about the Thallo many reviewers said it was one of their favorite devices from SMOK. We’ll start with the build quality, which many reviewers referred to as a sexy device. Its lightweight zinc alloy construction received much praise along with the vibrant display of the screen, it’s easy to read menu display, and simple functions. The 3000mAh battery is a huge pro it is quite long-lasting and when it finally does run out you have type-C quick charge.

The large 5mL capacity is a huge pro for obvious reasons. SMOK includes the RMP2 coils with this kit which work fantastically, a crowd favorite was  the (0.16ohm coil). Both coils are flavorful but the flavor on this one is a bit more prominent. With the 0.16ohm coil, you don’t need that much wattage and still get a satisfying lung hit. Vaped at 60W fully open with the 0.16ohm coil it’s an airy vape.

Final Thoughts

This is one of SMOK’S best pod mod devices. The RMP2 coils are the best with this. You get flavor and great vapor production. The only real drawback is it doesn’t give you a true MTL hit because it’s so airy even with it all the way closed. It’s a beautiful device if you're looking to invest. I’d highly recommend it!
