Conclusion

The iJoy IVPC pod is an updated easy-to-operate vaping kit with a mini body shaped like a small remote control. It offers a single firing button right in the center of the device. Underneath is a slight OLED display.

iJoy captures a built-in 450mAh battery and can fire up to 9W output.

It includes a 2mL e-liquid capacity with a disposable pod fitted with a 1.6ohm coil. The pod adopts optional modes of NORMAL/HARD/SOFT/ and BYPASS MODE.

Performance-wise the iJoy IVPC kit does a decent job for what it’s worth. The chassis is the perfect size for a portable, it has a flat bottom, you can stand it up on surfaces as opposed to placing it on its side. The OLED display is cool there’s one discrepancy, but more on that later. The display allows you to see your battery life and voltage huge pro.

For the IVPC kit to be such a small device, it comes with great features. What makes the IVPC unique is the fact that you have different modes. You have your soft mode 3.4 V, normal mode 3.6V, and hard mode, 3.8V.

The pods are pretty easy to fill, and 2mL capacity is sufficient for a pod of its size. The IVPC pod works with both freebase e-liquid and nicotine salts. You tend to get more cloud production when you use a higher concentrated nic salt.

It suits both MTL and DL vaping styles, it’s a loose draw on MTL it has a bit of restriction, but the DL is most restrictive.

Moving onto the cons, these feel more like nitpicks than actual cons. First, The screen is not easy to read, the gloss on the pod always reflects a glare when you read it.

Next, there is no pass-through when you charge the device. When it’s charging you can't vape on it, also the 450mAh battery sucks, it doesn’t last that long.

Lastly, the pods aren’t refillable, once you use the coil it goes bad and gets that burnt taste if you try to refill it.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the IVPC Pod System is a good transitional pod. There isn’t anything remarkably special about it but it gets the job done. Maybe iJoy will come out with a second version offering a bigger battery and refillable pods. I'd still recommend it for its quality and compact features.
