Conclusion

The Avenger shows up with a bang. When was the last time you controlled your wattage, or made adjustments, simply by using your voice? I know! It’s not common, and it is actually impressive. The problem with most of these novelty kits are the embellishments. They are pointless. They are useless bells and whistles.

This iJoy is the real thing. You don’t want to assume there is no substance at the sight of all that flash. Look at the mod! 234W! That’s a tremendous amount of wattage and, when paired with the Avenger tank, you can rip big and rip deliciously.

I used 18650 when reviewing this, and I got nothing to complain about. The screen is a bit of a fingerprint magnet but it’s still awesome. There are also plenty of little nifty features that makes it stand out. For example, the display shows a car, and the mod’s battery levels are disguised into the car’s tires – pretty clever.

When you speak, the lights flash in rhythm with your voice. With the kit, you’ll discover a list of commands you must use to control it. I agree with reviewer Zophie Vapes – it’s very useful when driving. Before I unpacked it, I was reading other reviews and I found one complaint regarding the button rattling. The comment said: “you can play maracas with that button rattle.”

Funny imagery but it worried me. Luckily, I didn’t find ANY rattling whatsoever. So, let’s hope the quality is consistent across all customers.

Let’s go over the pros and cons list from the experts:

Starting with the main USP — the unique selling proposition: voice control. Each reviewer had positive notes on this feature. It was acclaimed and highly praised as being “actually useful.” These experts are no strangers to flashy embellishments. It’s so much fun to control settings with only your voice. Reminds me of when I first talked to Siri or Alexa. I wish I could ask the iJoy silly questions, to be honest.

All reviewers loved the spare coils and glasses and the lack of rattling buttons and doors. The hefty mod allows for big tanks - up to 30mm without overhang. This was a common compliment across the board. I most definitely concur with that, too. Speaking of the tank, the Avenger performs admirably.

Let’s talk about some of the negatives. Fingerprint magnet is a term that gets thrown around so casually these days. If something gets a fleck or a tiny smudge, it is called a fingerprint magnet. That being said, this one is actually a big magnet. The fingerprints would make CSI work easy. All expert reviewers agreed with this, as well.

A complaint from Mike Vapes was the locking feature. Apparently, he experienced an issue that seemed unique to his device. When we locked it via voice command, he was still able to adjust the wattage settings. Not a big deal, really, but worth mentioning. You want to know everything is locked tight when you command it.

In summary, this iJoy Avenger kit gets terrific reviews from myself and all reviewers. We all love it. The price point seems fair and performs just like it promises. The voice control feature is innovative – although I don’t know why they call it “AI”, since it’s not exactly artificial intelligence.

This is a great mod paired to the amazing Avenger tank that combine attractive aesthetics with innovative features. The rating? It’s a conclusive GET NOW.
