HorizonTech Magico Pod Kit Review

HorizonTech Magico Pod Kit Review

Greetings, vaper. We’re back with another vape review. This will be another addition to the juice box style of pod systems. Now, I don’t know if that’s a thing, but the box with the little spout sticking from one side look is similar to the Orbit, the Rincoe, and the Pasito. Maybe it’s a new “thing.” Who knows, really, but I don’t care. All I care about is the quality of vape this gives, and so far, it’s been nothing but hype. I will open this up and give it a spin to see what the fuss is all about. Let’s hope it’s real because I like how it looks.

By glancing at the specs and features you can quickly surmise that this is an all-day vape. Most AIOs out there do not offer 6.5mL of e-liquid. Now that’s a tank! The battery also offers plenty of power for a continuous vaping experience. I don’t recall using bamboo fiber coils, so I can’t wait to see about those.

Alrighty then, time to move on and break this open:

  • Max Wattage: 25W
  • 12ohm Mesh Bamboo Fiber Coil
  • 8ohm Round Wire Bamboo Fiber Coil

Overall Experience:

Let’s dig into the deets. First off, I see two coils. As you’ve known from reading our review series, the addition of a spare will always paint a smile on my face. The lack of a spare will always incite seething rage towards said company. I am being dramatic of course, but why are some companies so cheap? How hard is it to add one little spare? Who knows!

There are two included coils .12ohm resistance coil and a 1.8ohm. Both of which are built with bamboo fiber. Ooooo sounds special. Might be copywriting mumbo-jumbo though, so keep your cheddar cheese in your wallet for now. At least until we know better. Right now the 0.12ohm is priming with some Churrios by Milkman.

As the juice does its magic and soaks into the bamboo fiber, I take the device from its packaging. It’s the black version. The matte finish and the panels are ergonomic and pleasant at the touch. I am actually happy with the look. The pictures promised this and in the end that’s what I got. It’s a compact device but still hefty, if that makes sense.

Due to the nature of my job, I get these products for free, and sometimes, such as right now, I received different colors for the purpose of the review. I must say, each color is vibrant and glimmering with hopes and dreams of vape splendor. Aside from the black, matte finish color, the rest are fingerprint magnets. That said, it’s not bad enough that it’s a deal-breaker

There’s a fire button sitting on its side that is also used to power on and off the device. I don’t particularly enjoy that. I like the firing button to be separate from the setting-adjustment button. Luckily, this kit is quite simple you don’t have to mess too much with the ghost in the machine. There are also nice venting holes on the bottom for the battery to keep cool.

Coils are primed and we are ready to look at the pod as well. Let’s start with the obvious: 6.5mL of e-liquid is a HELL of a lot of juice. That is amazing. I am very happy with that feature. Another positive note from me is the filling port. It’s round and big enough to fit any vape juice bottle you may have. Seriously, it’s huge. Leaking is not a problem, and if it is, you have only your clumsy fingers to blame.

Screwing the coil is easy and you must use the same knurled dial to control airflow as well. It’s all simple and easy to adjust and set. I’m very happy with that too. Oh yes, you must click the fire button five times to turn on or off. Another quick thing before I forget – the panels look like they’re removable but they’re not. Just wanted to point that out very quick. Not a deal-breaker for me, in fact, it’s better this way. Unless it kept 18650’s inside, the panels being removable would be completely pointless.

I am puffing hard right now, and the flavor is on point. I can’t really tell if this is the bamboo shenanigans talking, but the flavor is very luscious, delectable, delicious, and insert other thesaurus word for delicious in here. It would’ve been nice to have other power levels and have a bit more control between MTL and DTL. Also, the 510 drip tip is removable and you can replace with your favorite drip tip as well if your heart desires it.

All in all, this all-day AIO vape kit extraordinaire delivers on many fronts. It provides a beautiful and delicious Mouth-To-Lung your taste buds will be grateful for. The drip tip and the provided constant output delivers robust clouds and I can wholeheartedly recommend this. The price point is reasonable, and I believe you should try it. I am very pleased, and I will take this home with me.

Pros & Cons:

Now that you have my thoughts out in the open, in plain sight, here is also a collection (a gathering of sorts) of pros and cons. It’s a collective consensus from other popular experts. This way, I hope you can study at a quick glance what is good and bad about this device that will help you make a choice whether or not to purchase it. If something I’m reviewing sucks, I’ll tell you, but that doesn’t mean everybody agrees with me. This includes you.
